Itinerary
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport where the vehicle will be waiting at the arrivals and the office personnel / driver will be there with a pla card ready. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. The ancient culture and traditional architecture of Kathmandu means that the city boasts no less than seven World Heritage Sites incuding Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, Swayambhunath etc. (Pick up Tribhuvan international Airport, Kathmandu). • Pick up Tribhuvan international Airport, Kathmandu. • Drive to the hotel. Check - in and have the rest of the evening for leisure. • One can go for local shopping / casinos / (on your own) etc. You will be taken to Pashupatinath Temple first. • Pashupatinath Temple- Pashupatinath is one of the four most important religious sites in Asia for devotees of Shiva. (Duration of the sightseeing will be about 3 hours approx.)
Drive to Chitwan. Chitwan is 180 kms from Kathmandu and is 5-6 hours’ drive approx. Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal. It was established in 1973 and was granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. Jungle activities at Chitwan National Park. (You have the option of visiting Manakamna temple on the way where you are taken by a cable car ride of 10 mins.)
Enjoy jungle activities at Chitwan National Park including the safari in the jungles / canoeing / visit to elephant breeding center / jungle walk and bird watching / Tharu cultural dance show. Overnight at the hotel.
Drive back to Kathmandu taking the same path and transfer to hotel. Evening will be free for personal activities.
After breakfast, you will leave for sightseeing. • Patan durbar square: (A UNESCO world heritage site), known as Lalitpur and the ‘The Beautiful City’, was once home to kings who resided in luxurious palaces in Durbar Square. • Swayambhunath Temple: This stupa is the oldest of its kind in Nepal Legend has it that Swayambhu was born out of a lotus flower that bloomed in the middle of a lake that once spread across the Kathmandu Valley once was. After completing the sightseeing, drive back to the hotel.
